Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Math Class mobile application (the "App"), operated by Stefan Cohn ("we", "us"). By creating an account or playing Math Class, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Math Class. The App is not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with a parent or guardian's permission.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the activity that happens on your account. Choose a username that is appropriate for a general audience — inappropriate, offensive, or impersonating usernames are not allowed and may be changed or removed by us.

3. Fair play

Math Class is a competitive game. The following are prohibited:

• Cheating of any kind, including automation, bots, or scripted play;
• Exploiting bugs in the question generator, scoring, or rewards systems;
• Manipulating matchmaking or your skill rating (MMR), including intentionally losing matches to lower your rating;
• Interfering with other players' games or the service itself.

Violations may result in suspension or termination of your account, including loss of purchased or unlocked items, at our discretion.

4. Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases (for example, cosmetic items). Billing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms. In-app purchases are non-refundable and have no cash value. Refund requests, where applicable, must be made through Apple or Google per their policies.

5. Ownership

The App, including its question generators, artwork, and branding, is owned by Stefan Cohn. Cosmetic items you unlock or purchase are a limited, revocable license to use those items in the App — they are not property and cannot be transferred or sold.

6. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time, and may request account deletion as described on our account & data deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above; continued use of the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
